DAY1. ARRIVAL YANGON (B)

Welcome by our tour guide upon arrival at Yangon International Airport. Transfer to hotel and take a few hours for refreshment. Evening tour begins with the most magnificent and spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda before the sun set and enjoy the beauty of Stupa while it changes the shining of gold in different tones according to the radiant of the setting sun. Dine at local restaurant Overnight in Yangon.

DAY2. YANGON – BAGAN BY FLIGHT (B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to domestic airport for flight to Nyaung U. Sightseeing tour begins with Nyaung U Market before proceeding to Shwezigon Pagoda- the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine. Lunch at local restaurant and Transfer to Hotel. Visit Hilominlo Temple, Ananda Temple, Thatbyinnyu Temple- a white stucco building, the highest temple in Bagan built by King AlaungSithu in mid-12 Century; Gawdawpalin. Transfer to Hotel. Evening tour begins with Dhammanyangyi Temple, the most massive structure in Bagan, built by King Narathu (1167-70), Manuha Temple and LawkanandaPagoda, enjoy the beauty of sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy river with the backdrop of TantKyi Hill. Dine at local restaurant and overnight in Bagan.

DAY3. BAGAN – MT. POPA (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano. Rising out of the shimmering heat, Mt. Popa is home to Myanmar’s most powerful “nats”. Visit the Nat Museum with its life-sized statues of the 37 Nat Gods. Walk up the steps to the Stupas and shrines that top the hill above the museum, seeing many pilgrims along the way. The way by the roadside can see the locals climbing up the palm tree and making jaggery. Lunch at local restaurant and transfer to Hotel. Evening tour begins with Sin Phyu Shin Complex, where the teaching of Buddhist Scripture was initiated as the school for Sangha. Tour continues to Myanmar Traditional Lacquer-ware workshop. Overnight stay in Bagan.

DAY4. BAGAN – YANGON – GOLDEN ROCK (B/L/D)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, drive to Bago, the Ancient Mon Capital, visit the reclining ShweThaLyaung Buddha Images, built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th Century. Tour extend to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock Pagoda, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves stands precariously on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun base camp, take an open truck which is compulsory through a steep winding11 km road which leads to the upper staging point. From the “upper area”, travellers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up-steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Pagoda platform. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 26 per pax. Enjoy the beauty of sunset or dawn over the mountain ranges from the platform of Golden Rock Pagoda or from hotel. Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo

DAY5. GOLDEN ROCK – BAGO – YANGON (B/L/D)

After breakfast, descend from Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. Proceed to Bago. Sightseeing includes “Kanbawzathardi Palace” the famous palace of the Emperor of the Second Myanmar Kingdom (1551-1581 A.D). Proceed to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, originally built by the Mons to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954. Lunch at local restaurant in Bago. After touring at Bago, return back to Yangon. Upon arrival, tour extend to Another Huge Sitting Marble Buddha Image, LawkaChantha Abaya Lahba Muni meaning Buddha blessing the whole Universe, being healthy, wealthy and free from danger. From there, a few metres away, visit the house of the three Royal White Elephants. Overnight in Yangon

DAY6. YANGON DEPARTURE (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Botataung Pagoda and sightseeing to the city centre including City Hall, MahaBandoola Park, Independence Monument.Shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott) Market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then, transfer to International airport for departure “HOME SWEET HOME”
