Day 1    Arrival  Yangon

Welcome by our tour guide upon arrival at Yangon International Airport. Transfer to hotel and take a few hours for refreshment. Evening tour begins with the most magnificent and spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda before the sun set and enjoy the beauty of Stupa while it changes the shining of gold in different tones according to the radiant of the setting sun.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2     Yangon – Bago – Golden Rock

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bago, the Ancient Mon Capital, visit the reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha Images, built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th Century. Tour extend to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock Pagoda. A huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves stands precariously on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun base camp, take an open truck which is compulsory through a sleep winding 11km road which leads to the upper staging point. From the “upper area”, travellers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up-sleep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Pagoda platform. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 38 per pax. Enjoy the beauty of sunset or dawn over the mountain ranges from the platform of Golden Rock Pagoda or from hotel.

Day 3 Golden Rock – Mawlamyine

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Mawlamyine, is the capital of Mon State. It was also the capital of British Lower Burma and some of the colonial architecture remains. Once a busy teak port, Mawlamyine (or Mawlamyaing) is now an important seaport for southeast Myanmar (Burma) and is the country’s third largest city. It will take about 3 hours. On arrival, Proceed to Mudone, is the 180-meter (590-ft) long Win Sein Taw Ya, the largest reclining Buddha image in the world. A recent addition to the sights around Mawlamyine, you can enter the 30-meter (98ft) high attraction to see the galleries within. Back to Mawlamyine, visit Mahamuni Paya and then sun set at Kyaikthanlan Pagoda.

Day 4 Mawlamyine – Bilu Kyun (Ogre Island) – Mawlamyine

After breakfast at hotel, take the ferry to the large island west of Mawlamyine, Bilu Kyun. It takes about an hour to get there and you can explore some of the 60+ Mon villages by foot or horse and cart. The island is pretty much self-contained so you’ll see workshops selling handmade items made from whatever is at hand, usually coconuts. Go back to Mawlamyin and overnight in hotel.

Day 5    Mawlamyine – Pha An

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pha An. Visit Kyaup Kalap, the pagoda sits atap an unusual limestone pillar and is surrounded by a lake. “water garden,” created to encircle the pagoda. And then visit Sadan Crave, this holy cavern holds Buddhist statues, Paya and carvings as well as natural wonders – huge stalactites, crystals, and bats, Mt. Zwekabin. Overnight in Pha An.

Day 6    Pha An – Yangon

After breakfast at hotel, go back to Yangon. It will take about 6 hours. On the way, sightseeing Bayin Nyi Naung Gu, a natural limestone cave with hot springs believed to have healing powers. Check in hotel in Yangon.

Day 7    Yangon Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Sightseeing to the city centre including City Hall, Sule Pagoda, MahaBandoola Park, and Independence Monument. Shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott) Market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Lunch at local restaurant. Then. Transfer to International airport for departure “HOME SWEET HOME”.
