DAY 1. ARRIVAL YANGON
Welcome by our driver upon arrival at Yangon International Airport. Transfer the hotel and overnight in Yangon.
DAY 2. YANGON SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at hotel, Sightseeing to Chaukhtatgyi huge reclining Buddha with eyes look natural and Ngaehtatgyi Pagoda. Visit to Botataung Pagoda and sightseeing to the city center including City Hall, MahaBandoola Park, Independence Monument and Sule Pagoda. Evening tour begins with the most magnificent and spectacular Shwedagon Pagoda before the sun set and enjoy the beauty of Stupa while it changes the shining of gold in different tones according to the radiant of the setting sun. Dine at local restaurant and overnight in Yangon.
DAY 3. YANGON – BAGO – HPA AN
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bago, the Ancient Mon Capital, Sightseeing includes “Kanbawzathardi Palace” the famous palace of the Emperor of the Second Myanmar Kingdom (1551-1581 A.D). Proceed to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, originally built by the Mons to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954. visit the reclining ShweThaLyaung Buddha Images, built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th Century. Tour extend to Hpa An, on the way visit Bayinnyi Cave with hot steam water and Overnight at Hpa an.
DAY 4. HPA AN SIGHTSEEING
After Breakfast at hotel, Visit Lumbani Garden & Mount Zwekabin: the tallest of a chain of limestone-mountains, 2372 feet is crowned by a stupa, said to contain a hair of the Buddha. It’s a long walk to the top so we recommend an early start. If you arrive by 11am you can witness the feeding of the mountain’s monkeys. The mountain boasts fantastic views over the Kayin country-side. visit to Kawgone Cave; eight miles south of Hpa-An, the hidden gallery of 7th Century artwork within the cave. Thousands of Buddha images and carvings line the walls and roof of the cavern. The pagoda was first recorded in 1893 in an Archaeological survey of India Report. One headless carving of an elegant torso is believed to represent a queen who donated some images to the cave pagoda. Then, visit Yathe Pyan (Hermit) Cave, Shwe Yin Hmyaw Pagoda, Kyaunk Kalap; the column or rock, standing sheer out of a lake makes this monastery, pagoda and Nat shrine one of the most photographed spots in all Kayin State. to images to the cave pagoda. Saddan Cave; this breathtakingly huge cavern contains a pagoda near the entrance with many Buddha images. Overnight in Hpa Aa.
DAY 5. HPA AN – THANPHYUZAYAT – MUDONE – MAWLAMYINE
After Breakfast at hotel, drive to Thanphyuzayat; 64 km south of Mawlamyine, noted for Burma-Siam Railway called the Death Railway and the Allied War Cemetery.
Going back way, proceeds sightseeing at Win Sein Tawya, the world biggest reclining Buddha image and visit to Mudon’s hand weaving workshops. Return to Mawlamyine. Visit Kyaiktalan Pagoda at Sunset and overnight in Mawlamyine.
DAY 6. MAWLAMYINE – TAUNGOO
After Breakfast at hotel, proceed to Taungoo. It will take about 7 hours. You can see and visit the villages and Elephant camp on the way to Taungoo. Check in hotel and overnight in Taungoo.
DAY 7. TAUNGOO – NAY PYI TAW – KALAW
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Mandalay. It will take about 6 hours. On the way, visit at Naypyitaw ( New Capital city) which are Parliamentary Complax, Uppatasanti Pagoda and White Elephant . Check in Hotel and overnight in Kalaw.
DAY 8. KALAW – PYINDAYA – INLE
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Pindaya. Arrival Pindaya, sightseeing to Pindaya Cave (ShweOo Min limestone caves, inside there are over 8000 Buddha images), Pindaya Lake and umbrella making industry. Then, proceed to Inle and overnight in Inle.
DAY 9. INLE – INDINE BOAT SIGHTSEEING
Breakfast at hotel, visit NgaHpeChaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images, but is more famous for its unique ‘jumping cats’ that jump through hoops in the air! Continue to PhaungDawOo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf. Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the weaving village of Innpawkhoneand a cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand. Take a boat trip to Indein village located at the south western bank of the Inlay Lake, popular for its ruined clusters of Pagodas dated back to the 16 centuries. Meeting with local people and study the traditions and culture of these people. Overnight in Inle.
DAY 10. INLE – TAUNGGYI – KAKKUU – NYAUNG SHWE
Breakfast at hotel, drive one hour by road to Taunggyi then continue for about one more hour to Kakku, (depending on road and weather conditions). Visit the Kakku Pagoda complex of over 2000 stupas. Lunch at local restaurant. Then continue to visit Htan-Pha-Ya village and cave. Unknown Shan Buddha images of various sizes are kept on the wall of the small shallow Htan-Pha-Ya cave. Visit a typical Pao village including their plantations on the way back to Taunggyi. Go back to Hotel and overnight in NyaungShwe.
DAY 11. INLE – LOIKAW
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Loikaw. It will take about 4 and half hours. Sightseeing begin to visit to Thimingalar Pagoda (Taung Kwe Zedi) and Visit to Chit Kal village, after lunch to see Banner’s Post Festival for Kayar People. After that go and visit to study Kayar traditional weaving centre. Overnight at hotel in Loikaw.
DAY 12. LOIKAW SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at hotel, sightseeing by going to the market (Taung Zay), then proceed to monastery which is near the market to observe the Buddhist monks are having lunch. Visit Sambon village to see Padaung tribe and overnight at hotel in Loikaw.
DAY 13. LOIKAW – MANDALAY
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Mandalay. It will take about 9 hours. Check in hotel and overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 14. MANDALAY – SAGAING – AVA – AMARAPURA
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Amayapuya, visit MAHAGANDAYON, a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhism. And then proceed to Sagaing Hill. The Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries, a retreat for some 6000 monks and nuns. Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, KaungHmudaw Pagoda( a copy of the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lanka), and Ywahtaung (home of the silversmiths’ guilds) are places worth visiting. Proceed to Ava ( Inwwa), Visit Bagaya Monastery, Mai Nu Oak Kyaung or the Brick Monastery. Go back to the 200-year-old U BEIN teak bridge, built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the Royal Capital. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 15. MANDALAY – MINGUN ( BY BOAT ) – MANDALAY
Breakfast at hotel, you will discover the charms of old Burma as you take a journey through two of Myanmar’s ancient capitals. Drive to Kywezon jetty to watch the busy riverside activity and take a local riverboat to the ancient capital of Mingun (appr. 1 hour per way). Visit the Settawya Pagoda, with a footprint of the Buddha, walk to the huge Mingun Bell– the world’s largest ringing bell exists (It weighs 55555 viss), the nearby unfinished MingunPahtodawgyi– one of the famous buildings in the world., Myatheindan (Hsinbyume) Pagoda, built by King Bagyidaw in 1816, three years before he succeeded Bodawpaya as king, the pagoda was constructed in memory of his senior wife the Hsinbyume princess., a reproduction of the mythological Mt. Meru. Drive back to Mandalay. And lunch at local restaurant. Sightseeing begins MAHAMUNI PAGODA with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves and visit to the Gold Leaf Workshop and Tapestry Workshop. Then, to SHWE NAN DAW KYAUNG (GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY), a superb example of a traditional wooden building and KUTHODAW PAGODA, known as the world’s largest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs sculpted with the Three Baskets of Buddhist scriptures. Enjoy sunset on the Mandalay Hill. Dine at local restaurant and overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 16. MANDALAY – MT.POPA – BAGAN
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano. Rising out of the shimmering heat, Mt. Popa is home to Myanmar’s most powerful “nats”. Visit the Nat Museum with its life-sized statues of the 37 Nat Gods. Walk up the steps to the Stupas and shrines that top the hill above the museum, seeing many pilgrims along the way. The way by the roadside can see the locals climbing up the palm tree and making jiggery. Proceed to Bagan and overnight in Bagan.
DAY 17. BAGAN SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at hotel, Visit Nyaung U Market, ShwezigonPagoda(early 11 Century,AD), Ananda Temple (11 Century AD), Thatbyinnu Temple (mid-12Century, AD), Palace site of the First Myanmar Empire, Bupaya on the bank of the majestic Ayeyarwaddy river, enjoy the beautiful sunset. Stay overnight at hotel in Bagan.
DAY 18. BAGAN SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, visit Gadawpalin Temple ( 13 CenturyAD.), Dhammayangyi Temple (1167-70), Manuha Templebuilt by the Prisoner King of Thaton, MingalaZedi stone scripture, Sinbyushin Complex – where the Buddhist Teachings were initiated and Lawka Nanda Pagoda on the bank of Ayeyarwaddy river, enjoy the sunset beauty with the backdrop of TantkyiTaung (hill). Stay overnight at hotel in Bagan.
DAY 19. BAGAN – MAGWAY
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Magway. It will take about 3 hours. Visit Mya Tha Lon Pagoda. Check in Hotel and overnight in Magway.
DAY 20. MAGWAY – MRAUK U
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Mrauk U. It will take about 9 hours. Check in Hotel and overnight in Mrauk U.
DAY 21. MRAUK U SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at hotel, We will visit to Mrauk U historical city. Visit Shittaung Pagoda, Koe Thaung Temple, Andaw Pagoda, Yadanar Man Aung, Mingala Man Aung, Zena Man Aung, Lawka Man Aung, Sa Kya Man Aung and Dukkanthein Ordination Hall. In the evening, enjoy sunset at Harre Taund Pagoda Hill. Overnight in Mrauk U.
DAY 22. MRAUK U SIGHTSEEING ( CHIN VILLAGE – TATTOO VILLAGES )
After breakfast at hotel, we will transfer to Jetty and visit to Tattoo Village by boat. Lunch and excursion will be in Village. We will back to Mrauk U and Overnight in Mrauk U.
DAY 23. MRAUK U – MAEI
After breakfast at hotel, drive to maei It will take about 8 hours. Check in Hotel and overnight in Maei.
DAY 24. MAEI – NGAPALI BEACH
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Ngapali Beach. It will take about 4 hours. Check in Hotel and overnight in Ngapali Beach.
