Duration: 12 Days / 11 Nights

DAY1. ARRIVAL MANDALAY  

Welcome by our tour guide upon arrival at Mandalay International Airport. Take a few hours for refreshment.visit MAHAGANDAYON, a famous Buddhist monastery,  where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhism; continue to SHWE NAN DAW KYAUNG(GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY), a superb example of a traditional wooden building and KUTHODAW PAGODA, known as the world’s largest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs sculpted with the Three Baskets of Buddhist scriptures. Enjoy sunset on the Mandalay Hill. Dine at local restaurant and overnight in Mandalay.

DAY2. MANDALAY  – SAGAING – AVA 

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Amayapuya, visit MAHAGANDAYON, a famous Buddhist monastery,  where more than a thousand monks live and study Buddhism. And then proceed to Sagaing Hill. The Sagaing Hills are dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries, a retreat for some 6000 monks and nuns. Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, KaungHmudaw Pagoda( a copy of the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lanka), and Ywahtaung (home of the silversmiths’ guilds) are places worth visiting. Proceed to Ava ( Inwwa), Visit Bagaya Monastery, Mai Nu Oak Kyaung or the Brick Monastery. Go back to the 200-year-old U BEIN teak bridge, built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the Royal Capital. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY3. MANDALAY  – BAGAN BY PRIVATE COACH  

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bagan. It will take 6 hours. Upon arrival, transfer to Hotel. Take a few hours for refreshment.After relax in hotel, enjoy the beauty of sunset in the Ayeyarwaddyriver with the boat. Dine at local restaurant and overnight in Bagan.

DAY4. BAGAN SIGHTSEEING  

After breakfast at hotel, Sightseeing tour begins to Shwezigon Pagoda- the prototype for later Myanmar pagodas built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th CenturyA.D. as a religious shrine. Visit Ananda Temple -the  finest master-piece built by King Anawrahta in the 11Century A.D. Lunch at local restaurant. After then, Thatbyinnyu Temple- a white stucco building, the highest temple in Bagan built by King AlaungSithu in mid-12 Century; Gawdawpalin, 60 metres high, built by King Narapatisithu during the 13th century. Proceed to LawkanandaPagoda, where the Buddha’s tooth relic was enshrined built by King Anawrahta. Enjoy the beauty of sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddyriver with the backdrop of TantKyi Hill. Dine at local restaurant and overnight in Bagan.

DAY 5.BAGAN  –MT. POPA –  KALAW BY COACH

Breakfast at hotel,drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano. Rising out of the shimmering heat, Mt. Popa is home to Myanmar’s most powerful “nats”. Visit the Nat Museum with its life-sized statues of the 37 Nat Gods. Walk up the steps to the Stupas and shrines that top the hill above the museum, seeing many pilgrims along the way. The way by the roadside can see the locals climbing up the palm tree and making jiggery.Proceed to Kalaw. Check in hotel and take a relax. Then, sightseeing included TheinThaungPaya and HneePaya. Overnight in Kalaw.

DAY 6. KALAW TREKKING

Breakfast at hotel,start the trekking from Kalaw. After first 2 hours, we will be in LutPyin village. After sightseeing in the village make another 2 hour trekking among the rocky hill and vegetable farms to MyinMahtide village. On arrival at the village, make sightseeing follow by lunch stop at the village. After lunch, visit hiding Myin Ma Hti Cave for sightseeing. There are many different ancient  Buddha statues and some stupas in the cave and it will be about one hour sightseeing. In the evening, back to Kalaw.On arrival at Kalaw, proceed to your hotel directly.

DAY 7. KALAW – PINDAYA – INLE BY COACH

Breakfast at hotel, drive to Pindaya. Arrival Pindaya, sightseeing to Pindaya Cave (ShweOo Min limestone caves, inside there are over 8000 Buddha images), Pindaya Lake and umbrella making industry. Then, proceed to Inle. Overnight in Inle.

DAY 8. INLE BOAT SIGHTSEEING

Breakfast at hotel, visit NgaHpeChaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images, but is more famous for its unique ‘jumping cats’ that jump through hoops in the air! Continue to PhaungDawOo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf. Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the weaving village of Innpawkhoneand a cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand. Take a boat trip to Indein village located at the south western bank of the Inlay Lake, popular for its ruined clusters of Pagodas dated back to the 16 centuries. Meeting with local people and study the traditions and culture of these people. Overnight in Inle.

DAY 9. INLE – YANGON BY FLIGHT

After early morning breakfast, transfer to Heho airport for departure flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, visit LawkaChantha Abaya Lahba Muni Buddha Image – sculpted from a huge marble stone. The Title means – Lord Buddha – blessing the whole Universe to be healthy, prosperous and free from danger. Then continue tour to the Sacred Tooth Relic Pagoda and the University of Theravada Buddhism, World Peace Pagoda and MahaPasana Cave where the Sixth Buddhist Synod and the World Buddhist Summit were held.Sightseeing toRoyal Lake and Karaweik Royal Barge. Dine and overnight at hotel in Yangon.

DAY 10. YANGON – BAGO – GOLDEN ROCK

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bago, the Ancient Mon Capital, visit the reclining ShweThaLyaung Buddha Images, built in 994 AD by King Mingadippa, 55 meters long and 16 meters high, another biggest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar built during 9th Century. Tour extend to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock Pagoda, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves stands precariously on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun base camp, take an open truck which is compulsory through a steep winding11 km road which leads to the upper staging point. From the “upper area”, travellers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up-steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Pagoda platform. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 38 per pax. Enjoy the beauty of sunset or dawn over the mountain ranges from the platform of Golden Rock Pagoda or from hotel. Overnight at Kyaikhtiyo.

DAY11. GOLDEN ROCK  – BAGO –  YANGON

After breakfast, descend from Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. Drive back to Bago, visit Bago Market, where we can see the ways of life of local people and buy local products. Sightseeing includes “Kanbawzathardi Palace” the famous palace of the Emperor of the Second Myanmar Kingdom (1551-1581 A.D). Proceed to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, originally built by the Mons to a height to 23 meters in the 8th century and was rebuilt higher several times until it finally reached its present 114 meter stature in 1954. Lunch at local restaurant in Bago. After touring at Bago, return back to Yangon.proceed to Chaukhtatgyi huge reclining Buddha with eyes look natural. Dine atlocal restaurant and Overnight in Yangon.

DAY12. YANGON DEPATURE

Breakfast at hotel, visitCity Hall, Sule Pagoda, MahaBandoola Park, and Independence  Monument and Sule Pagoda. Shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott) Market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts. Then, transfer to International airport for departure “HOME SWEET HOME”.
